So the picture below is what the process to success looks like even with mother nature and avocado seeds, so there is hope for you on any endeavor you are engaged in. So while you may not like that every avocado seed, at bat, project or startup will not succeed, you should be prepared just the same and plan accordingly and have other options ready while you focus on what is needed to grow your orchard.

Road to Success for the avacado

Road to Success for the avocado

So what you see is 1 in 11 have made it to a viable seedling, with 2 still in the running, and 8 that went to the compost today. Now this is just the cradle phase, not the complete project from cradle to grave. So there is bound to be a lot of fall out from seedlings like this to fully mature fruit bearing avocado trees, but that doesn’t discourage nature or me, and it shouldn’t discourage you. Remember nature understands risks far better than we do, which is why she is so abundant and attacks just about every problem with abundance vs scarcity. So is your model and approach based on abundance or scarcity? I hope it is based on abundance and you are an optimist with an appropriate understanding of risk and reward and when you hit a challenge you see the needed change and lesson from failure and turn it into success. So take pride in your effort, regroup and go at it again with the experience and wisdom gained with an appreciation for the effort you expend and a smile on your face 🙂 I was fortunate to fly at a early age and be shown that the sky’s still blue and bright above the storm, so most every challenge is your perspective and position in relation to it. So to me running multiple projects comes easy and is apart of my abundance plan so I can see success, even small ones from various aspects and keep that series of successes visible and while moving forward with all the challenges that will naturally occur and teach me more than success alone.

Book #8 “How to send an embedded envelope from DocuSign™ via REST using PHP, .NET,  JAVA and APEX in 60 minutes: A pattern as a developer  lab from Grigsby Consulting LLC’s Integration Cookbook Volume 2” is going to be delayed a week. since I have been working on getting the joint project for a DocuSign Developer 101 course green lighted. Read more about DocuSign Developer 101 and the Certified DocuSign Developer available at DocuSign Momentum 2015

Until then please enjoy the other 7 books and related articles below in this recap of the developer labs released to date.

So think of these 10 minute developer lab books as the smallest parts of the recipe you need to be able to build on to execute a complete recipe which will be about 60 minutes, or what is called a pattern and practice in development terms and then I will move to an application or full course meal from those patterns.

So for those interested in the larger books and the working titles here they are:

  • Grigsby Consulting LLC’s Integration Cookbook Volume 1 – Setting up your development environment
  • Grigsby Consulting LLC’s Integration Cookbook Volume 2 – Building and Debugging your integration
  • Grigsby Consulting LLC’s Integration Cookbook Volume 3 – Selling and Supporting your Integration

Also, you will continue to see “Tools I use” articles like Postman – REST Client, a Google Chrome App which will be an appendix to Volume 1.

So 6 of these 7 books complete the below recipe shown as a sequence diagram which I will publish next week along with the different languages (Code) calling the API’s in the six DocuSign API’s released so far.
